EV Charging

For Apartments

iDACS EV Charging Solutions for Landlords Property Developers and apartment residents

Our load balancing EV Charging systems offer flexibility for apartment managers, property developers and tenants alike - as they can be scaled easily when demand increases or budgets allow. And with new EV Charging grants available for landlords, there's never been a better time to invest in an ‘EV Ready’ system for your properties.

By pre-cabling parking bays upfront it’s simple, quick (and cheaper than alternative solutions) to add more EV chargers as required. The load balancing functionality of the system means that multiple cars can be charging on a single cable run - with each receiving a share of the available power - so no disappointed tenants with uncharged cars!

Our systems can also report electricity usage, control user access and schedule charging for lower tariffs, via a subscription free software. If you want to monetise the charging service, add-on software solutions are available to automate payments.

We offer two main solutions for EV Charging in shared parking areas;

  • A solution using Easee smart Chargers and Easee Ready dummy units and covers. The Easee Ready dummy units are pre-wired and pre-configured by our engineers. When an EV charger is required by a tenant, the cover can be removed and an active charging ‘robot’ clipped into place. Its quick, simple and there’s no additional cabling required. The client can pay us directly for the supply and installation service and we will process their Govt grant voucher (where eligible).

  • A solution using Easee smart Chargers and Woertz Flat Cabling & Modular Connecting Hardware. The flat cabling system is run along a wall in your car park in preparation for EV charging. When chargers are required, junction boxes can be added anywhere along the cable run, with little disruption or additional cabling costs. As before the client can pay us directly for the supply and installation service and we will process their Govt grant voucher (where eligible).

    Subject to the power supply, both solutions can support multiple EV chargers on one circuit (up to a max. of 101 chargers), and provide dynamic load balancing, to ensure each vehicle on charge receives a share of available power.

    BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS ‘PLUG-AND-PLAY’ CHARGING POINTS COULD BE ADDED TO THE CABLING BY TAPPING OFF THE MAIN RUN - MEANING FUTURE ADD-ONS WOULD ALSO BE EASIER, CHEAPER AND LESS DISRUPTIVE FOR THE CUSTOMER.
