iDACS Eastleigh Fully Trained for First Aid

iDACS Fully Trained for First Aid

Last week, the whole iDACS team undertook a one day course in First Aid. As we now have a hybrid working culture, it was important that the whole team were trained, so there would always be someone available in the office to offer help in the event of an accident or other health issue.

Pre-covid, we had two designated ‘first-aiders’ in the office, however with more people having a hybrid working pattern it wasn’t practical to continue this practise. So, Managing Director, Payl Cattell, book an on-site training session for all internal staff.

This means, that whoever happens to be in the office on any given day, there will be someone available to offer them initial first aid support.

It is still a relatively rare event for everyone to be assembled in the office at the same time, so it was nice to be sharing the training day with the team

The demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions were excellent and quite entertaining!

And the resulting photos from the day were great for caption competitions! There were a few suggestions for the picture below…...

iDACS take staff well-being and safety very seriously, and have even helped to fund a local defibrillator.
